Eschatology is the study of the last things, and it is divided into three main categories: personal eschatology, intermediate state, and universal eschatology. Personal eschatology indicates the separation of an individual's soul/spirit from a body. When the soul/ spirit departs from the body, the body goes to decay, and the soul/ spirit is either lifted up into heaven or downcast into hell.

The state between physical death and resurrection is called the intermediate state. During the intermediate state, the soul/ spirit entertains either comfort or suffering of pain according to its destination. The one that goes to hell suffers, while the other that goes to heaven comforts.

The main objective of this eschatological topic is to sacrifice our lives for the sake of God's kingdom and to proclaim the Gospel to the lost.

Based on this reading, answer the following two questions:

1. Do you know where are you going after death?

2. How much do you preach the Gospel to the lost?
